The mission of the Hudson Valley Technology Development Center, inc. (HVTDC) is to be a high performance, customer oriented, continuously improving integrated organization that is viewed by it's clients and investors as the premier business development group located in the Hudson Valley (NY Region).
We deliver high quality, cost-beneficial technical and management services. We specialize in green business development, advanced manufacturing support and lean, value add training and implementation.
Through the transfer of new technologies and advanced manufacturing processes, and the delivery of business development assistanceto small businesses, manufacturers and early stage companies, HVTDC creates new economic opportunities in the region.
We help small to medium-sized manufacturers, businesses, inventors, and entrepreneurs in the seven-county Hudson Valley area to become viable and more competitive in the marketplace. The seven counties include: Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester. We are one of ten regional technology development centers funded cooperatively through the NYS Office of Science, Technology and Academic Research (NYSTAR) and the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST)
Our experienced staff includes industrial engineers and project managers who have in-depth experience in business and production operations, business process analysis/improvement, grant writing and administration, management policy analysis, workforce training/development, strategic planning, organizational design, management policy and industrial engineering. The staff also includes marketing, business development and information systems professionals.
