HVTDC Continues Its Quest to Deliver Lean Manufacturing Techniques

After completing a very successful Lean Manufacturing seminar series in 2003, Hudson Valley Technology Development Center (HVTDC) is pleased to present their “Lean Principles for Executives” seminar to be held on March 24 th at their main office in Fishkill. This seminar is specifically designed for top-level executives within a manufacturing environment.

This short 4-hour course will introduce company leaders to the main principles and benefits of Lean Manufacturing and Lean Enterprise. It is designed to give executives the experience of “being in the situation” and assist them in promoting a Lean business strategy. The simulations incorporate role-playing in manufacturing operations, from traditional production methods to those incorporating Lean philosophies and their associated financial benefits.

This seminar is intended for senior executives charged with improving operations in ways that demand new behaviors and ways of thinking. They will develop an understanding of how their executive leadership can direct their companies to greater efficiency and profitability through a new view of standard work, visual controls, plant layout, set up reduction, pull logistics, kanbans, cellular manufacturing and more. HVTDC's certified instructors have extensive, hands-on manufacturing backgrounds and will guide attendees through the learning process.

The seminar will run from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM (includes continental breakfast) and costs $100.00 per person.
